Hola de Puno

just returned to puno this afternoon after being on lake titicaca.

was on uros islands for a visit and ate reeds!! Then onto amatani island where we where met by our host mothers -mine was Norma and she had a little 6 year old called william, was bunking with Henrick from Denmark and Chris from Florida who was fluent in spanish as hes been teaching english in equador for 7 months.

anyways, climbed to top of island when there and had coffee and donuts at 4125 mtrs, then back down to partake in a traditional dance where we all had to dress up in local costume - pics later.

today was a trip to Tquile island and we berthed on one side of island and had to walk over to other side to get boat back - lunch at over 4000 mtrs again,

now more than a little sunburnt and heading back to cuzco in morning by train, meeting up with chris and a couple (dianna & jay) from washington dc for a meal in plaza de armes tomorrow night.
